Throughout 2018 the Kiwi singer-songwriter Lawrence Arabia recorded and released a new track each month as part of his Kickstarter-funded Singles Club. Now this LP, helpfully titled Lawrence Arabia’s Singles Club, collects the dozen songs on one slab of wax. The challenge to constantly create new material clearly aided Arabia’s creative process - along with Baroque pop musings and Tame Impala-esque ballads we also get Lynchian lounge ambiences like ‘(Contagious Dream Heals The World)’.
