The last few months have heralded a new musical dawn for Pariah. Not only did the one born Arthur Cayzer drop his long-awaited debut Pariah LP back in 2018 (one of Bleep's top 10 albums of the year), but now he has reunited with Blawan (Jamie Roberts) to provide us with the first Karenn record in a half-decade. The cheekily-titled Kind Of Green comes courtesy of new label Voam and showcases some lovely tough techno sounds. Cuts like ‘Newt’ and Kind Of Green’s title track draw from the wonk-techno styles of Metrist and Bergonist. Meanwhile ‘Rek’ is a hard-nosed DJ tool and ‘Salz’ goes off on a bit of an EBM thing.
