The first release on None More Records comes courtesy of London outfit Lunch Money. Loosely categorised as a jazz band, there are in fact so many styles at work in Lunch Money’s music that it is not easy to categorise. The jazz artists they come closest to are the likes of Thundercat and Ezra Collective, groups who also bring everything from neo-soul to psychedelic rock into play. There is also a little bit of a Balearic flavour to the woozy lounge-hop jams ‘Flashing Neon Signz’ and ‘Yam Taeng’. This is an impressive debut drop from both the band and the label.
