The evergreen Nightmares on Wax project from George Evelyn travelled across the world with this one, recording everywhere from Ibiza to Leeds and in between. Irresistible as ever, tracks like '195lbs' demonstrated the funk and swagger hadn't gone away, it's just embellished with synth swabs and guitar licks. 'Be There' is a shuffling groover, one for late nights and moonlight parties; 'Bringin It' is a wonderfully exuberant singalong. 'Pretty Dark' grows from sparse beginnings to funk-laden, head-nodding greatness, and 'Hear In Colour' is a hands-in-the-air delight.
