Bleep

Gramm was an alias briefly adopted by Jan Jelinek at the end of the 1990’s. Personal Rock, the 1999 LP that is to date the the project’s only release, is easily identifiable as Jelinek’s work. Indeed, this collection of stuttering micro-house loops brings it close to Jelinek’s Loop-Finding-Jazz Records LP, released a couple of years later in 2001 (though the grooves are generally a bit more focussed when Jelinek’s in Gramm mode). This Faitiche reissue marks the first time that Personal Rock has been available on vinyl since its initial release.
