Wise beyond his years and seemingly born with an innate sense for the dancefloor, Munich producer Brian Müller — aka Skee Mask — started making waves in 2018 with the release of Compro, a revelatory album spinning off masterful deconstructions of 90s dance and electronic music. Following hot on its heels, the 808bb 12” returns to the exploratory space of the label’s Ilian Skee series. The epic ‘Trackheadz’ hints at noise, ‘TH808’ makes for blissful deep listening, and ‘800AB’ makes for outer space. Skee Mask takes the hardcore euphoria and amen breaks of previous efforts and, as if you didn’t already know, turns them right on their heads.
