Hold me closer, Tyler Dancer. The Michigan artist follows up his 2017 debut EP Resisting In The Darkness with new set 62 Miles High. This is a record of minimal, unusual and intriguing house-techno hybrids. ‘Karman Line’ and ‘Shiva’s Hands’ contain little more than immaculate drum machines and weird bleep-bloop lead lines. With its undulating synth pads ‘Nyx’ is a little fuller, but not by much. The off-kilter flow and vibe of 62 Miles High recalls Actress. As with Resisting In The Darkness, 62 Miles High is out via Don’t Be Afraid.
