Heralded as his finest work to date upon its 2012 release, Lukid’s Lonely At The Top sees a fitting repress on Glum. Sitting alongside contemporary DJ producer Actress’ twin poles of “R&B concrete” RIP and Ghettoville, Lonely At The Top is a ghostly apparition of upended rave utopianism, a dream faded at the edges like a charity shop 12”. But Lukid still finds the space (and the willpower) to set bodies dancing.
