September 2019 will mark 20 years since the release of the first EP of collaborations between Theo Parrish and Marcellus Pittman. As such, the time feels right for a reissue. Made when the pair were rising stars in Detroit’s house scene, this trio of tracks still sounds as warm and inviting as it did back in the day. ‘Night Of The Sagitarius’ and ‘Selectors Theme’ are gorgeous mid-set rollers, while the smoky incantation ‘African Roots’ prefaces the great leap forward Parrish would take on 2000 LP Parallel Dimensions.
