Just so we’re clear, Klein + M.B.O. is not a collaboration between Hyperdub’s celebrated experimentalist Klein and another mystery artist. Rather, Klein + M.B.O. were actually an Italo-disco duo who scored a few big dance hits back in the 80’s (their debut single ‘Dirty Talk’ exerted a strong influence on the fledgling Chicago house scene when it emerged in 1982). Rush Hour now reissue the group’s sleek, punchy ‘The M.B.O. Theme’ along with a Balearified remix from Warrior.
