Appearing from out of the ether once again, this time on her own Kallista imprint, Melbourne musician Carla dal Forno has never sounded so fully formed and confident as she does on ‘So Much Better’, her first single since 2017’s Einstürzende Neubauten homage The Garden EP. Armed with an anecdotal and straight-talking style this time, she’s nonetheless still emphatically dal Forno: all crepuscular minimalism and British post-punk dissatisfaction.
