Alessandro Adriani’s Mannequin Records come through with a new edition of a single they first reissued back in 2014. Decadence’s 1983 tune ‘On And On (Fears Keep On)’ is a killer slice of golden age Italo-Disco. The track’s louche groove, eerily beautiful vocals and crashing 808s are the sort of sounds that have gone on to influence so much of Mannequin’s subsequent output. The B-side dub that foregrounds the tune’s killer drum and synth programming is just as essential.
