Edward Upton has to be the hardest-working man in the club, and the latest drop in his ever-expanding DMX Krew catalogue finds the Breakin’ Records boss delivering the goods once again. Sweatisfaction is classic Upton, all robo-funk grooves and acid overtones. The EP’s title track, for instance, brings together a bluesy electro bassline with a stuttering 909 groove and a vocal that could have been beamed in from mid-’80s Chicago. Sweatisfaction is another winner from the DMX.
