GK Machine’s excellent Invisible, Inc. imprint are spoiling us with this one. The ambient/new age pioneer Laraaji has been linking up with Canadian pair log(m) for over a decade now. Since 2007 the three artists have been getting together to perform long, free-form jams at log(m)’s studio. These are then whittled down, re-structured and tidied up until a finished track emerges. Now, finally, we have The Onrush Of Eternity, a triple-LP set which brings the log(m)/Laraaji collaborations to the world. log(m) and Laraaji add so much to each other - the duo’s zany, dubwise production style is now augmented with the transcendent beauty of Laraaji’s work on zither, mbira, dulcimer and other instruments.
