Dominick Fernow returns to his Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement moniker for another round of humid electronics. Venus Flytrap Exotica expands ever so slightly on the sound Fernow has perfected throughout Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement’s previous releases. The tracks here still come cloaked in a hot mist of reverb, found sounds and portentous effects, but the beats are slightly more robust than they have been before. Indeed, you could dance to the low-key dub techno of ‘Bridgetown Dub’ and ‘Price To Pay’ if you were so inclined.
