What do you get when you cross DJ Powder with the Beats In Space label? That’s right - Powder In Space! This is the first release in a new club-orientated series from Tim Sweeney’s imprint, and if the subsequent records are going to be like Powder In Space then we can expect good things from now on. Across the mix Powder brings a cracking selection of psychedelic house trax. There are also two original productions from Powder herself - the ebullient ‘New Tribe’ and the playful ‘Gift’. Both of these cuts are available in their full-length versions on the wax EP, a set that comes bolstered by offerings from Daphne and Samo DJ & Hidden Operator. Please note that the CD is mix-only, the digital edition features both mixed and unmixed selections, and that the full mix is not available on vinyl.
