Bleep

The third LP from G.S. (Gabe) Schray arrives on Last Resort. First Appearance is another set of rose-tinted instrumentals from the Akron, Ohio artist. The beats here largely hover on the edge of downtempo hip-hop, Durutti Column-style dream pop and the Balearic-influenced vistas of early chillwave. Over these gentle backings we find Schray’s guitar meander hither and thither. First Appearance is all very Twin Peaks - never a bad thing, of course.
