Another month, another classic from Jimi Tenor. On Vocalize My Luv - the first single from Tenor’s forthcoming LP - we find the Finnish musician uniting with Ghanaian gospel singers Florence Adooni and Lizzy Amaliyenga. The title track is a busy bit of hi-life disco held together by the excellent kit work of Ekow Alabi Savage. For the B-side we get a cover of Alogte Oho’s Frafra classic ‘Ki’igba’, here augmented by a horn section and Tenor’s wandering flute lines.
