2017 repress of 2009's Ghostbox superb album that acts as both a visual and audio map to the 'imaginary' town called Belbury. Worth it alone for the awesome concept, triggering off all sorts of ideas and memories through both the booklet (with hints of old-fashioned field maps and brown 'places of interest' signs) with images of the town, and its anonymous inhabitants, suggesting strangeness behind the facade of normality. The track titles and music suggest similar things, a vast improvement and very different from the previous Belbury Poly album, the music is both strange and utterly normal, uncanny if you like, with more risk and imagination than previous glimpses of the world of Belbury. Absolutely excellent.
