Texan producer E.R.P. comes through with the inaugural release on Forgotten Futures. The eight cuts on Afterimage are sturdy electro numbers in the vein of the best Motor City music. Busy club jams like ‘Overcast’ and ‘Insomnia’ owe quite the debt to Drexciya, particularly when one factors in the slight astral vibe of many of these jams. This is an EP of prime club tackle that is varied enough to work across many different styles of mixing.
