Dutch drum & bass label Tempo Records (DJ Trax, Ink & Gremlinz) welcome Soul Intent back for a second drop. U Got Me is a versatile collection of junglist joints. ‘Loved Up’ and ‘Feel Good’ deliver on the promise of their titles. The wistful, almost Balearic synth tones and dubby production gives these tunes a sun-kissed quality that belies their winter release date. ‘Feel Good’ also shows off a fat bassline towards the end of the track, a trick that is repeated on ‘No Hype’.
