Succhiamo returns to Antinote (Toulouse Low Trax, Alek Lee) with this bracing EP. Mani In Fuoco is rooted in a bastardised version of Italo Disco. The grooves here bounce around with the energy of a Passarani track, but the distorted tones and off-kilter melodies give cuts such as ‘Dolore dentro’ and ‘Vecchia’ a much darker feel than one usually associates with the genre. Indeed, the likes of ‘Stai male’ basically cross over into minimal synth territory.
