Nils Frahm returns to the stage with the second volume of his Encores series of EPs, following the show-stopping All Melody album, released in January 2018.

With the first volume of Encores, Nils Frahm focused on a fully acoustic sound by performing on only solo piano and harmonium. Whereas on Encores 2 he sets out to explore a more ambient landscape that reaches new heights on the astral projection gaze of 12-minute centrepiece showpiece Spells.

Encores 2 is at once familiar, orbiting the universe of All Melody yet its journey outward ensures it builds up and inhabits a new world, entirely of its own.
