While Headstrong Records split their debut drop between Randomer and Glaswegian duo Clouds, on the sophomore release they allow the former to take total control. Unsurprisingly the L.I.E.S./Hemlock veteran relishes the chance to have a run at a full EP. The tracks on HS 002 are mighty things. Rooted in a hard ‘90s techno sound, cuts like ‘Sylo’ and ‘Hidden’ incorporate some hardstyle and trance influences to up the ante even further. This is one of those special ones that makes other stuff sound puny by comparison.
