Brainwaltzera brings to a close the Poly-Ana series with Epi-Log EP, the astonishing third and final piece of the puzzle...
Building further on the thought processes that made the Aescoba EP and Poly-Ana LP, releases that ignited the interests of hundreds of Braindance hungry acolytes, the Epi-Log EP shows that no matter what pigeonhole genre you may try and place the elusive artist within, it will hold no bounds for the style and sounds that Brainwaltzera will look to load up next.
Leaving behind the twisted jungle drum trax and acid techno of recent plates dished up for Furthur Electronix and Analogical Force, from the first steps it's clear that this is Brainwaltzera tapping further into the airwaves of ambient electronica. Tracks like 'Laif Of Smit' are what we imagine Twoism would have turned out sounding like if BOC had transported forward in time to the mid 00s on a record shopping trip to Big Apple, while [τake 2] further builds upon the Analord automation of his Poly-Ana album, awash with glassy synth structures which draw the way forward and into the metallic downpour of 'CountDempops'. Meanwhile 'Bad Endgar' and 'Dropp On Gminor' end things on an almost footwork tip, hopping over the gaps that occupy the spaces in-between Brainwaltzera's intensive and always impressive sound design.
