Juju & Jordash’s Jordan GCZ drops his first collection of solo material since 2016’s Lushlyfe II. The Pinball Lizzard EP is a set of typically ebullient club tackle. Pinball Lizzard’s opening title track, with its spiralling synth arpeggios and chunky bassline, feels a little like Jordan GCZ has aimed to make a housified version of Arkist’s ‘Fill Your Coffee’; ‘Yellow Jackets Descend’ is a hallucinatory Balearic jam, and closer ‘Minor 7 Resin’ slows the groove down to around 100 bpm but maintains the busy programming and leftfield feel of the rest of Pinball Lizzard.
