There’s an interesting backstory to this one. Night Force’s ‘Dance’ was a hit on European dancefloors when it first dropped in 1980. However, when it came to the track’s South African release the following year, ‘Dance’ was slowed down. This turned the high-octane original into a strutting disco-funk number. This new Afrosynth reissue concerns itself with the latter version. The 1981 EP is fully restored here, meaning that four additional synth-disco takes from The Tom Cats are also included.
