One of the best tracks from Marie Davidson’s superb Working Class Woman gets an EP all of its own. Even by the standards of that record ‘So Right’ stood out for its combination of sensuous club instrumental and commanding vocal performance. The manner in which the cut brings together elements of garage, Italo-Disco, synthwave and Chicago house is reminiscent of Cooly G’s best work. On the So Right EP the song comes in original form, as an extended version - perfect for club deployment - and remixed in slo-mo Balearic fashion by John Talabot. We also get the Kavinsky-esque new tune ‘La Ecstase’ and its accompanying remix by Silent Servant.
