Following the runaway success of Salm Volume 1, Arc Light Editions round off their collection of Gaelic psalms from the Scottish Hebrides with a second volume of heavenly spirituals. Lifted from the same recording session as the first, Salm Volume 2 elaborates and expands on precisely what we loved the first time around; a call-and-response style of group singing (called precenting), great ebbing waves of sound that can scarcely be believed, and an enchanting feeling of togetherness.
