Bristolian producer Lamont returns to Swamp 81 sub-label 81 with a new EP. The tracks on Detached are the sort of seasick bass fare that have made recent Lamont productions like ‘Ar Kid’ stand out from the crowd. ‘Dope’ and the title track hark back to Swamp 81’s early-2010’s golden age, a time when tunes like Joy Orbison’s ‘Sicko Cell’ and Addison Groove’s ‘Footcrab’ were forging brave new worlds out on the dancefloor.
