Rabit rounds off an excellent year for both his own music and his Halcyon Veil imprint with an EP derived from his recent LP Life After Death. The five ‘Rebirth’s on Toe In The Bardo Pond all have their genesis in sounds from Life After Death. As such, this ‘remix suite’ shares some similarities with that LP - the glitching rhythms and gritty reverb of ‘Rebirth II’, for instance, draw a clear line between the two records.
