The excellent Analogical Force (µ-Ziq, Brainwaltzera) drop an EP emotive electro from Roel Funcken. On Sapper Morton, Funcken strikes a lovely balance between the twinkling Braindance grooves of artists like D’Arcangelo and the sort of widescreen synth textures more commonly found in ambient music. Even when things get a little acidic on ‘Borgon Cray’ we are given some gorgeous keyboard tones to soften up the gnarly bassline. James Shinra also features here with a remix of the title track.
