Kit Grill is both enterprising and prolific. Since 2013 the London-based artist has put out eight records on his own Primary Colours label. Generally, Grill’s music tends towards pretty synthscapes in the Passion Pit mould, but on new full-length Obsession we find him putting aside the electronics and coming through with a record of solo piano compositions. A dab hand on the keys, Grill’s pretty ditties show a clear influence of Claude Debussy.
