Barry Lynn sheds his Boxcutter guise for his return to Planet Mu. Assigned with the near impossible task of balancing lakes, Lynn embarks on a 'dubstep-free' venture of complex, granulated electronics.

We're immediately engaged with the kitschy, mutated 8-bit style funk of 'Abort, Retry, Fail' - a fitting, opening gambit that prepares us for the level of electronic sophistication that follows. 'Something With M In It' is a dreamy-eyed, digital sonata that spans a mere 2.5 minutes - a wonderful, futuristic pop moment. By the time we reach 'Loving Dub' and 'New Orleans', it's clear that Lynn is more than capable of experimenting with genres - quasi-jazz licks and granulated drum n' bass.

A mammoth 14 tracks in, we reach the end of this epic, 'Field Trip' and 'Hayfever Dub' are a very appropriate coda to this very accomplished body of work. Highly recommended!
