STILL’s impressive 2017 debut LP I gets the remix treatment. I was a zany record that brimmed with ideas and energy, and many of the remixers here preserve the unique flavour of the source material. Entries from the likes of Slikback, I Jahbar and Low Jack zip around the monitors, while Kelman Duran’s flip of ‘Nazenet’ ekes a strange poignancy out of the original’s Afrofuturist take on electro. There’s plenty of club fodder here, too - try Nidia’s Kuduro-flavoured version of ‘Haile Selassie Is The Micro-Chip’.
