Bleep

The exciting Bokeh Versions (Jay Glass Dubs, Time Cow) with an intriguing EP from newcomer Sunun. Like many of the other Bokeh drops, Ooid is a record that is anchored in dub physics but spreads its roots out to create something futuristic. The mumbled vocals, wisps of melody and thick shroud of reverb on tracks like ‘Ishe Roots’ nods to Mo Kolours, but the eerie darkness that cloaks the record is more suggestive of an artist like Muslimgauze.
