At the intersection between technological ingenuity and irresistible dancefloor-primed electro pop sits Lia Mice. A resident DJ for London experimental multimedia dance series Electrolights AV and a doctoral candidate of Media and Arts Technology at Queen Mary University of London, Mice’s third solo LP The Sampler As A Time Machine is a cerebral exploration of the London club scene sound, drawing on the cross-platform heraldry of Laurie Anderson and the all-time great ingenuity of Suzanne Ciani.
