A melodic new pop/rock EP from Django Django following the success of their third album, Marble Skies. Unlike previous releases, they abandon their twanging guitars in favour of drum machines and synth hooks, straddling the boundary between indie and dance music. The EP’s single, ‘Swimming At Night’ is both upbeat and reflective, about getting lost in your own thoughts and creative processes. Something like Robyn or New Order, ‘Winter’s Beach’ is a bundle of punchy, high-energy pop music, taking the Django’s sound in a new, surprising and fresh direction.
