Preacherman, aka Tim Jones, has the work on ‘Universal Philosophy’ rereleased, a cosmic exploration of Jones’ Moog skills and funky vocal index. With additional monikers including Midi Man, Ironing Board Band and T.J.Hustler, the elusive soul and R’n’B’ artist has released only one LP and two CDs. The double vinyl Luaka Bop offer now contains a selection of tracks from those CDs. An old pioneer of sorts, Preacherman regularly swapped in parts on his Moog, altering its sound and combining key elements with his much-loved organ during his performances in and around Las Vegas.
