One of the most highly regarded albums to emerge from the Japanese jazz scene during one of its pivotal moments in the late 1970s, ‘Earth Mother’ is reissued by BBE. Extremely popular with jazz collectors, this infamous album sees saxophonist Matsukaze creating once again with drummer Furusawa Ryojiro. With additional bass and piano from Tamio Kawabata and Daitoku Toshiyuki, the LP is a post-bop and spiritual masterpiece from the depths of the ALM back catalogue.
