Canaxis 5, the only studio album to emerge from Technical Space Composer’s Crew, is reissued now on Grönland. Originally released in Germany in 1969, the electronic album is an experimental foray into the genres of world and folk music. Featuring the Dodam Dara love poems of the Vietnamese Cham people on ‘Boat Woman Song’, ‘Canaxis 5’ is an intriguing work composed by Holger Czukay of Can and Rolf Dammers. A delightful piece of history for those interested in the development of world music and collectors of Czukay’s output.
