Lone brings to a close his Ambivert Tools for R&S with three of the strongest strobes 'n' all tracks from this excellent series yet.
As this is the last plate in the party, Lone fittingly stacks each track with some of his most breezy, rugged house excursions yet, each track fully loaded with his trademark atmospheric melody and harmony. While these tunes are primarily a vehicle for Lone to repeatedly hit those peak eyes rolling back moments that so often occur during his intoxicating DJ sets, it's hard to deny that Ambivert Tools has given us some of the most avin-it-large smashes from our guy yet.
From the melancholy lost future pulse of 'Pulsar', recalling classic B12 locked into Redcell mode, to the tightly programmed ‘Oedo 808’ drum-funk and the end scene bounce of ‘Blue Moon Tree’, the basslines are all crisp, the drums all tanked up and the series closes off with a proper party. Trust when we say this series is gonna be looked to for a long time to come as proper tools for the DJs looking to push the rave-venturing to its limits... Taps off!
