Composed in hotel rooms around the globe, Feldermelder applies a level of artistic appreciation to spaces previously defined by ephemeral interactions on ‘The Sound Of’. Produced to encapsulate a series of aural adventures led by the artist, the EP strives to gift each environment a unique voice. ‘Shanghai’ is a scattered array of pulsing chimes - startling alerts that reload to construct song and rhythm. Likewise, ‘1st _ 62nd’ bursts into life, evoking with it the vision of a blossoming New York City on a bright ‘n’ busy spring day.
