Gremlinz returns to Paradox Music (Alaska, Big Bud) with a truly gnarly new version of his 2009 tune ‘Frankie Gunns’. This is some serious breakbeat science right here. Each set of skittering loops darts around the headphones, augmented by thuds of sub, before ebbing away to a mournful held chord for a moment and then starting anew. The effect is akin to the anti-gentrification dubs of Mark. Label boss Paradox turns in a wiry, alert remix on the flip.
