Legendary Sheffield producer Richard Barratt continues a strong run of releases for DFA with the lob-sided architecture of Crooked House, his debut album as the Crooked Man.

Bringing along Michael Somerset Ward (of fellow Sheffield electronic legends Clock DVA) and David Lewin (of Bleep & Booster), the man otherwise known as Parrot and one-half of early-Warp/bleep 'n' bass button pushers Sweet Exorcist, returns with a properly dope new album of earworm house and finger clicking electro. Inspired equally by the rich electronic music history of Sheffield and the NYC loft-era disco sound, Crooked House features floor after floor of extended grooves layered with peak-time choruses. A classic DFA album in the making.
