Though Andrew Lyster’s Youth imprint only has a handful of releases to its name, the meandyou co-founder’s label has already turned a few heads. The bastardised electronic sounds of releases like Shamos YO2TH have been as arresting as they have been unusual. This run of oddball, half-remembered club fare continues with Sin Falta’s Diamonds EP. These three tracks are fidgety and jerky, almost as if they’re uncomfortable in their own skin. It gives the dem-bow bounce of ‘Diamonds’ and the foggy, Ossia-esque ‘Noh Mas’ a feel of tension that encourages you to keep listening. Things close out with the melancholy, Madlib-style beatwork of ‘I, I’.
