Nutty release from We Buy Gold here. Andrew Juke is a stage name - his mum knows him as Andrew Power (also a great name) - and we’re thankful for that. It would just be too much nominative determinism for us to handle if it weren’t. 5Key is, indeed, packed to the rafters with juke beats and rhythms. Many of the six tracks here come with a somewhat zany vibe that means 5Key sits nicely alongside the rave/acid revivalism of the rest of the We Buy Gold roster. The relatively more restrained ‘Colourblind’ could pass for one of DJ Spinn’s edits. It’s a lot, and it’s a lot of fun.
