Tectonic drop a couple of remixes of some old Pinch bangers. ‘The Boxer’ dates from 2010, while ‘Swish’ surfaced a year later on Deep Medi. Here dubstep veteran Kromestar updates them with a few tips and tricks he’s picked up in the intervening years. Both tracks were pretty heavy dubs to begin with, but these new versions are as weighty as they come. Huge bass sounds and serrated saw waves dominate the tunes in a manner reminiscent of the hyper-grime of Kahn & Neek. They might not be for the faint of heart, but in the right hands these remixes are sure to send dances loopy.
