Genres

Originally conceived in the early shadows of the 90s, Wolf Eyes and Universal Indians return to the smokey shores of the legendary underground Psychojazz or Trip Metal (depending which way to play it) outfit Universal Eyes.

Comprising Gretchen Gonzales, Nate Young, John '"Inzane" Olson and Aaron Dilloway, Universal Eyes' new recording session Four Variations on "Artificial Society" builds a nearly exact to the note document of this unholy reunion and captured in full detail by Warren Defever (aka legendary/mythical artist from 4AD and beyond His Name Is Alive).

Originally released as an extremely limited (in grand Wolf Eyes tradition) LP on Gretchen's American Tapes for Trip Metal 3 festival, the album is given a new lease of life via Wolf Eyes Lower Floor label. Already being whispered about in the dead hills by noise neurotics in hushed tones, these recordings are set to embed themselves high up within the mythical, Michigan rock 'n' roll (shades and denim) musical folklore.
