Constellation (Eric Chenaux, Do Make Say Think) drop the second LP from JOYFULTALK. Since 2015’s MUUIXX, Jay Crocker’s project has toured Europe and beyond alongside Holy Fuck and Micachu & The Shapes. Crocker applies the know-how picked up on his travels to Plurality Trip, a record of ‘micro-climate trance music’. Along with Ox/Lab Coast musician Shawn Dicey, Crocker conjures a set of varied electronic numbers from modulars and homemade instruments. The pair shift styles across the course of these seven tracks. One minute we’ll get a Boards Of Canada-esque synthscape (‘Kill Scene’, the bookending ‘Future Energy Fields’ entries), the next a piece of clanking almost-techno (‘Monocult’, ‘You Death March’).
